Most people involved in music recording or production are familiar with
audio plug-ins from a user's perspective. In this talk Jeremy Todd, CTO
of iZotope Inc., will describe what goes on behind the scenes when
building a commercial audio plug-in. This process is both creatively
and technically challenging. By the time a plug-in is released, a
surprisingly large number of people have contributed to it. Mr. Todd
will describe the members of his team and discuss the technical
challenges of building and integrating audio plug-ins into modern DAWs.
iZotope, Inc. is a Boston-based audio signal processing company. Jeremy
Todd directs the research and development of iZotope's signal
processing algorithms and products. Mr. Todd holds degrees in
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology. He is a member of the AES.
